Beirut Municipality Announces Municipal Fees for 2025

Approval of Assignment Schedules for Municipal Fees in Beirut for 2025 and Specification of Payment Dates and Late Payment Penalties.

Beirut Municipality announces the approval of the basic assignment schedules for the municipal tax on rental value and the sidewalk and drainage maintenance fee for 2025, which includes all real estate areas located within the municipality’s boundaries. This step aims to organize and facilitate the fee collection process for citizens.

Based on the provisions of the Municipal Fees Law No. 60/88, the municipality calls on all taxpayers to expedite the payment of their due municipal fees within two months from the date of publication of this announcement in the Official Gazette, which will be issued on November 6, 2025.

The municipality stresses the importance of adhering to the specified deadlines, as a financial penalty of 2% will be imposed for each month of delay on amounts not paid within the legal deadline.

Citizens can pay the due fees to the collectors of the Revenue Collection Department or at the department’s cash desks located in the municipality center, located in the Beirut Municipality building, property No. 243 Port, behind Al-Nahar Newspaper – Uruguay Street.

Beirut Municipality hopes for the cooperation of all citizens and their commitment to paying fees on time, in order to contribute to supporting the projects and services provided by the municipality to the city and its residents.
