Al-Raad: The resistance remains on the path of the martyrs, steadfast and unwavering.

Honoring the Martyr of the Resistance, Wassim Saeed Juba’i, in Hanawayh

Hezbollah held a ceremony honoring the fortieth day of the martyrdom of Wassim Saeed Juba’i, in the southern town of Hanawayh, in the presence of the head of the “Loyalty to the Resistance” bloc, MP Muhammad Raad, families of the martyrs, religious scholars, and figures and personalities from the towns of Hanawayh and Aitit and a number of neighboring villages.

The ceremony began with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by the Lebanese national anthem and the Hezbollah anthem, before MP Muhammad Raad delivered a speech via screen, in which he addressed the participants, saying: “Because some circumstances prevented me from personally attending to be blessed by looking at your faces, O honorable and sacrificing loyalists, I bear witness to God that you are steadfast on the right, patient and reckoning, and always ready to answer the call of duty to defend the values of religion, human rights, and the sovereignty of the nation.”

Raad said that the popular attendance at the event reflects, in his expression, “steadfastness on the path of the martyrs,” praising “the contributions of the martyr Wassim Juba’i, known as Hajj Mahdi Hanawayh,” who he described as one of the first participants in the resistance work since the nineties, noting that he “contributed to reconnaissance and surveillance operations, ambushes, and faced the enemy on more than one axis.”

He added: “Our martyr was present in the paths of qualitative operations and the pursuit of the enemy from Naqoura to Tir Harfa, Shihine, and Blat, all the way to storming enemy positions in Bayada, Beit Yahoun, Brashit and others, and he had a role in the support war and preventing the advance of Israeli forces towards the Litani River.”

He concluded by saying: “The approach for which the martyr sacrificed remains in the custody of the resistance fighters, and neither the enemies nor those colluding with them will be able to impose a logic of retreat or surrender, the resistance is true to its promise to the martyrs and will not change.”
