In an old interview from 1975, Carlos Bilardo, the coach of the Argentine national team that won the 1986 World Cup, stated that the future of football lies in Africa, and not in other continents such as Europe, South America, and Asia. Bilardo attributed this to the fact that playing football in the streets is still widespread in Africa, unlike in countries such as Italy, Germany, and Argentina.
Bilardo pointed out that football is widely practiced in Africa, and that there are strong teams such as Cameroon, Nigeria, South Africa, Tunisia, and Morocco.
On the other hand, before the anticipated final match between the Moroccan U-20 national team and its Argentine counterpart in the Youth World Cup, Mohammed Wahbi, the coach of the Moroccan national team, confirmed that his team will play the match with confidence and calmness, while adhering to the plan they have adopted since the beginning of the tournament.
During the press conference before the final match, Wahbi stated that his team believes that there is no invincible team, and that they will enter the match with humility and great focus. He explained that the injuries will not affect the team’s collective spirit, and that the player Yassin Jassim is recovering well and will do his best for the team.
