Before the expected confrontation between the Moroccan U-20 team and its Argentine counterpart in the World Youth Cup final, “Cubes” coach Mohamed Wehbe confirmed that the team will play with confidence and calm, while adhering to the plan it has followed since the beginning of the tournament.
During the press conference preceding the expected final tomorrow, Sunday, Wehbe said: “We believe that no one is invincible, and we will enter the match with great humility and focus.”
He added that the injuries “will not affect the team spirit,” noting that player Yassin Jassim “is recovering well and will do everything he has for the team.”
The coach explained that Argentina “has great quality and a strong playing system,” but stressed that “what matters is effectiveness on the field and not just possession of the ball,” stressing that “mental and physical preparation will be the key to victory.”
For his part, team captain Hossam Al-Sadiq expressed his pride in what the team has achieved so far, saying: “Praise be to God for this journey, and we will do everything in our power to win and please the Moroccan fans who supported us strongly.”
The Cubs are expected to enjoy great public support on Sunday, after two planes were allocated to transport fans from Morocco to Chile.
