In a statement, reported by IRNA, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran condemned “the false accusations and irresponsible and shameful allegations of the American President regarding Iran, which he made on Monday in the Zionist Knesset in the presence of genocide criminals.”

She said: “America, as the largest producer of terrorism in the world and a supporter of the criminal terrorist Zionist entity, does not have any moral capacity to accuse others.”
She stressed that “repeating false allegations about Iran’s peaceful nuclear program does not in any way justify the joint crime of the American and Zionist regimes in attacking Iran’s sacred soil and assassinating its precious sons. Boasting and acknowledging the crime and aggression increases the burden of America’s responsibility for committing these crimes, and reveals the depth of the hostility of American policymakers toward the great Iranian people.”
She considered that “America’s complicity and active participation in the genocide and incitement to war committed by the Zionist entity in occupied Palestine is no secret to anyone, and America must be held accountable for its role in the impunity of the Zionist entity, including preventing any effective action against it in the UN Security Council, as well as obstructing international judicial procedures to prosecute Zionist criminals.”
She saw that “the American President’s declared desire for peace and dialogue conflicts with America’s hostile and criminal behavior against the Iranian people,” and asked: “How can someone attack safe residential areas and nuclear facilities in a country in the midst of political negotiations, and kill more than a thousand people, including innocent women and children, and then claim peace and friendship?”
She concluded: “The Iranians, based on their rich culture and historical heritage, are people of logic, dialogue and interaction, and at the same time they act with courage and determination in defending Iran’s independence, national dignity and supreme interests.”
