
Hamdan said in a statement to Agence France-Presse, “The prisoner exchange will begin on Monday morning as agreed upon, and there is no news yet regarding the implementation details,” noting that the field arrangements related to the handover process have not yet been completed.
He explained that the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the movement, had not yet informed the leadership of any details about the location or mechanism of the delivery, adding that some names were still a matter of dispute due to the lack of response from the Israeli side in the issue of releasing them.
Regarding the humanitarian aspects, the Hamas leader revealed that the Rafah crossing between Gaza and Egypt will be reopened next Wednesday for individuals in both directions, explaining that the agreement also includes opening five ports to bring relief aid into the Strip. (Arabic)
