Al-Hadath TV sources reported on Thursday that Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Shaibani will visit Beirut tomorrow, Friday.
According to the information, Al-Shaibani will discuss Lebanese-Syrian relations and the outstanding issues between the two countries with a group of officials, led by the President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, and the Prime Minister, Nawaf Salam.
An informed source told the Syrian TV channel that “demarcating the border with Lebanon and the issue of Syrian prisoners in Roumieh prison will top the agenda of the Syrian Foreign Minister’s visit to Beirut and his discussions with officials in Lebanon.”
This is the first visit to Lebanon since the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime.
