The “National Bloc” announced in a statement that it “shares the joy of the people of Gaza over the end of the war and the reaching of a ceasefire agreement,” stressing that “the priority now is to implement this agreement in a way that ensures saving what remains and opening humanitarian aid routes without delay.”

The bloc stressed “the necessity of complete Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip and stopping the repeated attacks to ensure the stability of the agreement and consolidate permanent stability, with the hope that this step will be the beginning of the path of peacemaking in the region and the establishment of a Palestinian state under Arab and international auspices.”

She also called for “to stop exploiting the Palestinian issue for regional calculations and interests, to put the interests of the peoples of the region first, and to draw lessons from this bitter experience to build a safe future for all.”
